A SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) calculator is a free online tool that helps you estimate how much money you could earn by regularly investing in mutual funds. Think of it as a smart helper that predicts your future savings!
The formula used for SIP calculation is:
M = P × [(1 + r)^n - 1] ÷ r × (1 + r)
Where:
M = Maturity amount
P = Monthly investment amount
r = Monthly interest rate (annual rate/12)
n = Number of months
Investing ₹1,000/month for 1 year at 12% annual return:
Monthly rate = 12% ÷ 12 = 1% (0.01)
Total months = 12
Final Amount ≈ ₹12,809
💰 ₹5,000/month for 5 years @10% → ≈₹3.9 lakh
📈 ₹10,000/month for 10 years @12% → ≈₹23 lakh
